Doing great
Mom is doing great! The break from the chemo has been such a blessing. Mom seems to be feeling great and enjoying her time without the constant doctors appointments that the chemo regimen requires. This is the most free time and best she has felt probably since her diagnosis in Nov. 2006. Especially since the radiation has had minimal side effects this time. She did not experience the initial 3 days of severe fatigue that she had after the first radiation. Although, Dr. Kane gave her some chemotherapy in pill form today so we will have to see how that goes! I can’t imagine that it would have as strong of an effect as the intraveneous chemo. But it’s the first time so I’ll have let you know. We have one more round of the radiation in late November or early December. Mom is headed out on the truck with Jay tomorrow. I hope she gets to stay out fwith him for a couple weeks at least!
